Parker's first vacation.

I've already heard it several times.  "I am ____ years old and I still haven't been to the Bahamas."  Yes, I know.  He was very young for his first vacay, but it is only going to get more and more expensive the older he gets.  We had such a good time, BUT Parker really enjoyed hanging out in the hotel room, which was good for me because I ended up getting really sick one day.  Pretty sure it was mastitis, which is probably TMI.

BAHAMA PICS:
If anyone was curious why pics with Santa included flip flops for Parker and a summer dress for Mommy, this is why.
Such a good traveler.

At the Atlantis.

Dinner with Papa and Gigi.

Happy boy.
My sweet fam.

Mommy and Daddy.

Dolphin encounter.....
.....while Daddy and Parker took a nap.

I mean, LOVED being in the hotel room.  He was the happiest here.

Pretty sure he can't get any cuter than this.

MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Worst blogger in the world/Parker's first Thanksgiving.

When Parker was a tiny baby, it seems I had more time to blog.  How in the world?  Beats me.  I'm playing catch-up, so bear with me.

PARKER'S 1ST THANKSGIVING
Parker and Mommy at Bryan's grandparents' house in Amarillo.

Everyone seems to think he's looking more and more like him.

.I got to try sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes.  YUM.

The Rudd clan.

Someone started sitting up on Thanksgiving....and got to wear his new Christmas jammers.

This should have been posted over a month ago, but we are so thankful for everything the Lord has put in our lives.....especially our little cutie.  We had such a great time in Amarillo with Bryan's family.  Parker was, of course, the center of attention.  He didn't mind.  Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.....a month ago.

Six months......

.....or six and a half now, due to procrastination.  We are late, but we have been busy.

Parker is officially half way through his first year of life. Tear. The doc says he's a little chubby, BUT I weighed one pound less and was one inch shorter at his age, and I turned out just fine....or so I think.

Six-month stats:
20.8 pounds
27 inches
Rolling over from tummy to back and pretty much from back to tummy
Pretty much sitting up, still a little wobbly
Loves his mommy and daddy
Gets a little bashful when you talk to him or make him laugh
WAS sleeping through the night but is now waking up a couple times. (Once you think you've got it all figured out, they like to trick ya.)
MOMMMM, I'm a big boy now.  I don't need to rest against the bumper...and forget this monkey; I'm over it.

Justin Timberlake?

Nope.  Much cuter than JT.

My sweet boy, I didn't think it would get much better than what I felt last month, but my love for you never stops growing.  I love every little chunky ounce of your body.  I love your sweet laugh and how you are slowly starting to reach out for me.  I love when you are being cuddly and you reach up to touch my face or tug on my nose.  You are such a good baby.  I am the luckiest mommy in the world.
